o    Large number of cold tablet containers
o    Chemical containers
o    Containers or coffee filters with white or red sludge or crystals
o    Spent propane containers with green residue
o    Rubber tubing
o    Lithium batteries especially ones that have been stripped

What are the signs of Meth Use?

Can this addiction be treated?  

YES, Methamphetamine addiction can now be treated, however, currently, a cure does not exist.
 

Some Facts about Meth

Myth #1 - Methamphetamine is less harmful than other drugs
Fact: Meth is the most addictive drug out there and has devastating consequences on the brain and body.

Myth #2 - Meth addicts are the only ones hurt by their use
Fact: Meth severely impacts the user’s family, friends and community


Myth #3 - Using Methamphetamine is a safe way to lose weight
Fact: There is no safe way to use meth, as one usage can cause addiction. The addiction rate among women is the highest of any recent drug type.

Myth #4 - Meth is only a problem in rural areas, and not in my community.
Fact: Santa Cruz County has a large and growing meth problem which is severely taxing our social services.
